Hello and Happy New Year!
Here’s what’s going on at St. Mark as we prepare to celebrate the Epiphany of the Lord.
THERE IS ONE COLLECTION THIS WEEKEND: Stewardship.
THANK YOU FROM FR. REGGIE, Deacons Paul and Andy, and the St. Mark Staff for the many gifts, cards, treats and Christmas wishes! Your generosity warmed our hearts, thank you!

The donation for the week-long sanctuary candle remains at $10.00.
A BIG THANK YOU to Paula Mollica and the Beautification Committee for lovingly decorating the church and grounds for Christmas! Thank you to our musicians, choir, ushers, Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, and Altar Servers for serving the church with their individual talents! WELCOME, NEW KNIGHTS! Our St. John Paul II Knights of Columbus Council 8 welcomed seven new members, six of whom were exemplified on Thursday, December 18. The exemplification ceremony serves to instill the core values of the Knights of Columbus in new and existing members. It is designed to promote the principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity, which are foundational to the organization. The ceremony is a significant step for candidates as they advance to full membership within the Order. Welcome: Richard Yeomans, Scott Goodfellow, Richard Ezyk, Henry Gallo, Brian Rouse, Lito Sy, and Alex Acuna. Please see the attached photo from the Exemplification Ceremony.
OUR PARISH NOW HAS A FULL SUBSCRIPTION TO THE HALLOW APP—the #1 Catholic prayer and meditation app. Hallow will help you grow closer to God every day with over 2000 years of prayer, meditation, and contemplative tradition. Enjoy features such as Daily Rosary, Sacred music and Christmas playlists, audiobooks, games, trivia, and novenas. Please see the attached poster for information on how to sign up.
COLUMBIETTES: Are you a Catholic woman looking for a way to get involved in parish events? Do you enjoy social activities? Do you want to enrich your Catholic faith? We are looking to see if there is interest at St. Mark for a chapter of the Columbiettes. The Columbiettes make a difference by touching hearts and changing lives. The Columbiettes are very active in area parishes. They can be found making care bags for the homeless, birthday bags for children living in safe havens, assisting the Knights with projects, hosting diaper drives for pregnancy centers, visiting those at the local assisted living facilities, hospice volunteers, hosting dinners for clergy, Easter egg hunts for the children of the parish; the volunteer opportunities are endless. Please call the church office if you are interested or would like more information.
